Dearborn Memorial Day Parade

The City of Dearborn is home to Michigan’s longest-running Memorial Day Parade. Featuring over 90 community groups, schools, marching bands, and guests of honor each year, this respected city tradition honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
The parade is held in consultation with the Dearborn Allied War Veterans Council (DAWVC).
Parade Route
The parade route will travel through east Dearborn, beginning at the intersection of Schaefer Rd and Michigan Ave and concluding in front of the Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48126.
Remembrance Ceremony
The Memorial Day parade will open with a military funeral procession beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The parade will follow, beginning at approximately 10 a.m.
A remembrance ceremony will be held at the Henry Ford Centennial Library’s Veterans Park and War Memorial immediately following the parade’s conclusion, which will include remarks from Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud, the parade Grand Marshal(s), and more.
