Family Owl Hike @ Lake St Clair Metropark
Owls are calling, and we’re excited to get outside and explore the changing season. Designed for families with younger children, we’ll learn about Michigan’s owls and other nocturnal creatures, head out on the trail for a short listening walk, and then return to the nature center to do a craft and owl activities. While we can never guarantee owls on our outdoor hikes, we can promise a lot of fun!
What to Expect:
This program takes place indoors and outdoors. Participants will take a short, guided outdoor hike on compact gravel trails with plenty of time for exploration and questions. We will end in the nature center with a craft and simple owl activities.
Ages: Fun for all ages!
Time: 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult, children under 2 are Free!
Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center
Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
