“Hello Detroit” Coffee Meet Up & Storytime @ Next Chapter Books
We’re excited to host a ☕️ meet-up and story time 📖 with Jeanette Pierce of @cityinstitute_ on Friday March 14!
Stop in from 3 to 5 pm to unwind, connect with folks, enjoy a cozy drink from @eastside.roasterz , and hear Jeanette read her picture book, Hello Detroit!
Jeanette grew up on East Side, just blocks away from Next Chapter Books. Her fun-filled book features wonderful places in the city, both old and new, including the giant sledding hill at Balduck Park 😊
This book is a natural extension of Jeanette’s day job as president of City Institute which has utilized experiential storytelling to help more than 160,000 residents and stakeholders in Detroit understand and appreciate the city’s assets & challenges since 2005.
