Join InsideOut Literary Arts for an immersive day of activities and performances celebrating arts and wellness and Detroit’s vibrant community spirit!

The all-ages program will celebrate the end of summer and will feature a captivating lineup of poetry and musical performance and community-led activities for the whole family including:

Art activities include:
-Try-a-musical-instrument station with Detroit Harmony
-Movement and music for early learners with Audra Kubat and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra
-Garden pinwheel creation with Live Coal
-Book giveaways and reading activities with Making Spirits Bright
-Custom scent creation with Detroit Chempreneurist
-Cyanotypes sun prints with Artist Alex Collier
-Risograph bookmarks Artist Rachel Delmotte
-Custom poetry prescriptions by InsideOut poets

Wellness activities include:
-Sound bath and gentle yoga with Randiah Camille Green
-Dance workshops with N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art
-Cardio-drumming with Drumatic Fitness

Poetry performances by InsideOut student poets
Featured musical performance by international hip-hop artist Mahogany Jones
