DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered how knights in medieval and Renaissance Europe donned their shining armor\, or what it felt like to move while covered in steel plates? \nJoin internationally acclaimed historian\, Dr. Daniel Jaquet\, and the DIA’s own armor expert\, Dr. Chassica Kirchhoff\, for a live demonstration of the arming process and the amazing range of movement a knight could achieve in this wearable technology. \nThis family-friendly presentation featuring real armor based on medieval examples from the 1400s will be followed by a Q&A session. \nAfterward\, visitors are invited to join Drs.
