DESCRIPTION:The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy and Project Play are proud to present the Detroit Youth Sports Showcase! This event is a free opportunity for youth to try out a variety of sports and outdoor physical activities with partners from across the city. Participants will explore stations throughout Cullen Plaza and Milliken State Park including basketball\, tennis\, soccer\, chess\, skateboarding\, lacrosse\, and more\, as well as group fitness classes and demonstrations. Drop in anytime between 11am and 2pm! \nAll ages and experience levels are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle to fill up on-site and wear athletic apparel and closed toed shoes. Free parking is available in the River East Garage at 1000 Franklin Street\, Detroit MI 48207. Food will be available for purchase on-site. \nParticipants can receive free Detroit Tigers tickets while supplies last\, alongside other giveaways and back to school resources. \nAll programming is rain or shine. \nFull partner list coming soon! \nImage Source
