DESCRIPTION:Plants have been used in a variety of ways throughout human history. Join us to hear more about local plants\, their uses\, and sample freshly brewed readymade teas. Learn to identify these backyard plants and “weeds” by sight and scent while exploring the nature trails nearby. \nWhat to Expect:\nThe outdoor portion takes place on flat\, compact gravel trails. Participants will be standing\, stopping\, and exploring plants on a slow hike of less than 1 mile. Accessible parking available onsite. \nAges: 10 and up.\nTime: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.\nCost: $5 per child\, $5 per adult\nLocation: Lake St. Clair Metropark\, Nature Center \nPre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program. \n\n\n\n\nImage Source
