During this program you’ll learn about turtle’s life history\, meet some of Michigan’s turtle species\, and then learn to build a turtle nest protector to help some of Lake St. Clair Metropark’s turtle nests\, keeping turtle eggs safe from hungry predators. \nWhat to Expect:\nThis family-friendly program takes places indoors and outdoors. Participants will take a short\, guided hike on compact gravel with plenty of time for exploration and questions.
