DESCRIPTION:All participants ages 3-5 are invited to our Nature Play for Pre-K series\, exploring a different topic every month. This series is hands-on with a discovery focus. We will start with an introduction inside and then head outside to explore\, so please come dressed and prepared for the weather. \nIn May\, the amphibians are active and calling! First we’ll learn about their life cycle and then jump on down to the wetlands to try and find some of our friends. \nPreregistration is required. Included with the price of admission. She is trained in a number of therapies\, including Humanistic\, Cognitive Behavioral\, and Person-Centered\, and has additional training and certifications in bipolar disorders\, substance abuse\, DBT\, crisis intervention\, and is a certified EMDR Therapist with EMDRIA. Dr. Engstrom holds a specialist degree in Humanistic Psychology and Education\, in her early career\, she spent nearly a decade working with children and their families through play therapy and other modalities. Her dissertation research centered around the mother’s experience of parenting “gifted” children.
