DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Lake St. Clair Walleye Association\, join us for an Annual Kid’s Fishing Outing! Kids ages 5 through 16 can come out and learn the fundamentals of fishing and win some cool prizes. All registered youth will receive a free lunch\, bait and will go home with new fishing pole and tackle. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. There will be crafts and hands-on activities for participants. \nAll fishing supplies will be supplied but feel free to bring your own to use. \nRemember\, you must purchase a fishing license if you are 17 years of age or older to fish. If you are under 17\, you may fish without a license\, but you are required to observe all fishing rules and regulations. Any adult actively assisting a minor who does not have a license must have a fishing license. \nAges: Children 5 – 16. Children must be accompanied by an adult. You will only be able to register children of these ages\, but the whole family is welcome to attend with them. You will be asked during registration how many adults are attending with a child.\nTime: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.\nCost: Free\nLocation: Lake St. Clair Metropark\, Boat Launch \nPre-registration is required by 4 p.m. one week (7 days) before the program. \nPre-register online by checking the box of the program you would like to attend.
