DESCRIPTION:Owls are calling\, and we’re excited to get outside and explore the changing season. Designed for families with younger children\, we’ll learn about Michigan’s owls and other nocturnal creatures\, head out on the trail for a short listening walk\, and then return to the nature center to do a craft and owl activities. While we can never guarantee owls on our outdoor hikes\, we can promise a lot of fun! \nWhat to Expect:\nThis program takes place indoors and outdoors. Participants will take a short\, guided outdoor hike on compact gravel trails with plenty of time for exploration and questions. Do you have plants that you just aren’t a fan of anymore? Bring them to our plant swap! During this meetup\, participants are encouraged to meet and swap with other plant minded people. Each swap we will invite participants to swap specific groupings of plants. See schedule below for groupings. Light snacks and refreshments will be available during this event.
