DESCRIPTION:Mother Trees: Mother’s Sharing Circle\, Facilitated by Dr. Miriam Engstrom\, PsyD\, LP Psychologist & Clinical Director\nJoin us in the garden to share\, listen\, and connect with other mothers in all stages of parenthood. This is an open\, confidential\, judgement-free space to take a deep breath\, be guided by skilled circle facilitator\, Dr. Engstrom\, and leave feeling refreshed\, supported\, and a little lighter. Children are welcome\, and while no childcare is provided\, the space is fully fenced-in\, and they are free to run or snuggle up next to you. Bring a blanket as we’ll be circling on the grass.\n\nWhen: Friday\, May 30 at 9:30-11:30am. Come for the full time or drop in whenever you can.\n\nWhere: The Memorial Garden outside of the Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church at 17150 Maumee Avenue\, Grosse Pointe\, MI\n\nAbout Our Facilitator: Dr. Miriam Engstrom is a beacon of warmth and wisdom with more than three decades of experience. She is trained in a number of therapies\, including Humanistic\, Cognitive Behavioral\, and Person-Centered\, and has additional training and certifications in bipolar disorders\, substance abuse\, DBT\, crisis intervention\, and is a certified EMDR Therapist with EMDRIA. Dr. Engstrom holds a specialist degree in Humanistic Psychology and Education\, in her early career\, she spent nearly a decade working with children and their families through play therapy and other modalities. Her dissertation research centered around the mother’s experience of parenting “gifted” children. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening with Cara Rossi\, a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) for a reflective\, creative workshop designed to help you connect with your inner mentor — the wise\, steady part of you that already knows what you need.\n\nThrough a gentle guided reflection\, you’ll be invited to meet this inner mentor and listen for the messages\, values\, and intentions they hold for you. From there\, you’ll bring that inner wisdom to life by creating a personal vision board that reflects how you want to feel\, grow\, and show up in the year ahead.\n\nThis workshop is an opportunity to:\n– Tap into your inner wisdom and intuition– Clarify intentions and meaningful goals– Cultivate self-belief and self-compassion– Use creative expression as a tool for reflection and growth\n\nNo artistic experience is needed — just curiosity and an open heart.\n\n Materials: Basic supplies will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring magazines or images that resonate with them if they’d like.\n\nCome as you are\, and leave with a visual reminder of the guidance that already lives within you.\n\nBecause of our updated time and location\, we are going to try making our gatherings mothers-only.
