Join host Ricky Rainbow Beard and their friends as they explore the fun of dressing up! What does it mean to dress up? When do you do it? Why? \nThis participatory live theater performance is inspired by classic children’s programming like Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and Sesame Street\, and is designed for kids ages 4–8 (and their grownups). \nFor families of all ages. \nPride Themed docent-led guided gallery tours will be offered one hour prior to event start time\, meeting at the DIA Woodward lobby entrance. Endless fun songs!But wait theres so much more!Outside on our patio Breezeomatic will be providing beats all day\, with Motor City Dance Academy showing us how to move. And we will have Tacos Hernandez Food Truck there serving up free tacos for the community until we run out. The party is all day 11am-4pm and our store will be open. Come out to our community store on September 27th from 11am-4pm and party with us. \nWe will have kids creative learning projects from Arts & Scraps outside all day with @breezeomatic laying beats and @tacoshernandezfoodtruck slinging free tacos until we run out. Dont miss @motorcitysda kicking it with us from 1pm-2pm showing us all how to get our street dance on. And last but not least our classroom will be turned into a @puppetkaraokedetroit theater from 12pm-4pm! Come out and sing the songs you loved as a kid or the songs your kids love! Have a child who loves karaoke and never gets a chance to sing?! Have them sing and you can perform the puppets!
