**Note from Kristin - be sure to research this movie before taking your kiddos! I personally don’t feel like this is kid-friendly, but I didn’t want to not include this movie just because I felt that way, so go with what ya feel - just research this beforehand!

Presented by Capital One Café and supported by Faygo, families and friends can enjoy a variety of beloved films on the big screen at Campus Martius Park during our free outdoor movie series. Bring a chair or blanket to join us on the lawn for a relaxing summer evening under the stars. Join us at 6 pm before select movies to enjoy special onsite activations before the movie starts at 7 pm. Popcorn is available from Poppin Top Hat.

August 14 – Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes| PG-13

The story of Coriolanus Snow, years before he would become the tyrannical President of Panem. He is young, very determined and though the Snow family has fallen on hard times, Coriolanus sees a chance for a change in his fortunes when he is chosen to be a mentor for the 10th Hunger Games only to have his elation dashed when he is assigned to mentor a girl tribute named Lucy Gray Baird from the impoverished District 12.
